Your Instructor
Naomi D. Nakashima worked as a website administrator for a local group of radio and television stations until she was laid off following the events of September 11, 2001. Following the lay off, she launched her career as a freelance web developer in 2002, gradually making her way over to ghostwriting, content development, and blogging strategy. In 2014, Naomi narrowed down her writing focus to specialize in small business strategy and advanced social media tactics.
In the 18 years since she launched, Naomi has ghostwritten more than 20 fiction novels, 37 nonfiction books, and countless blog articles. In 2015, she launched her website, helpmenaomi.com, to help teach other freelance writers how they can build a sustainable freelance writing business online. Through her training services, Naomi has helped hundreds of aspiring freelance writers turn their passion for writing into a reliable stream of revenue. In 2020, Naomi founded the Freelance Writing Success Summit to help open doors to new freelance writers and allow them to connect with other experts in the industry.
